READING HABITS
Reading habits and choices: my reading habits have changed compared to my childhood. I used to read everyday two hours approximately. I loved to read stories about fantasy and fictional storyline. I liked to read books about adventures . I remembered about one of them which I was so engrossed in the story that I devoured all the books in the series in less than one month. Nevertheless, my point of view has changed and nowadays I usually read books in English thinking all the time on my student's interests in order to learn together and reinforce their reading skills in the classroom.
Emotions and Reading: Emotions can vary in the course you are reading the story. The same can happen when you read the summary of the novel which it can transmit you another feeling when you start reading it. Even, there are storytellings transport the reader to the main site or reminds of our lives. The emotional state is often influenced by the context , the content and the readers' personal experiences.
Personal Reading Experience a long the years: I have to recognised that I have changed my reading preferences . As I mentioned before, I used to read adventure books such as Geronimo Stilton's series and I loved storytellings about fantasy and poetry such as Gloria Fuerte's series. On the other hand, currently, I started to read four years ago books about British literature and history. I was so interested on that kind of reading when I was really passionate about English and I met a friend who recommended several books in the university such as "Hamlet" or "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare and "1984" by George Orwell. Those literary books has provided me several ideas to adapt and apply in my English lessons with my students with successfull results.
